ARTIST/SCULPTOR & HERBOLOGIST
Hello, and thank you for visiting my website which shows a few examples of my work.
My art practice explores environments and its materials. Previously it focused mainly on the urban landscape, but since 2019 I have been increasingly researching plants and their properties. As a result, my work has expanded to include herbology - the study and use of natural herbs, plants, and botanical knowledge. The way I work is spatial and this is explored through sculptures, drawings, watercolours, horticulture, and green pharmacy.
I have a Diploma in Herbology (Distinction) from the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh, an MSc in The City from the University of Edinburgh, and a BA in Fine Art and History of Art from Goldsmiths College. I have also previously studied in Lima and Madrid.
I am currently based in Glasgow pursuing further research into ecological and sustainable herb garden design with a particular interest in the creation of native medicinal meadows.
